I have a 2011 Keystone Bullet Premier 28RLPR. It has little counter space so in the past I made a stove top cover out of a cutting board. I put several coats of butchers wax on it and it has worked well. Still, I wanted a bit more space and I have always thought of adding one of those drop leaf style extensions.
The problem I have faced is the trailer's counter is curved with no real straight edges. Also, I have drawers that would be inaccessible when the leaf would be in the down position. I also didn't really want a "stepped down" drop leaf if it were mounted under the counter top lip.
So, I came up with this. It is pretty basic but I think it will work. I purchased a matching cutting board as I have on the stove. I cut it to match the curve of the counter and made it removable. The brackets are mounted and fold flat. Here are a few photos. It is just about finished except I have stained the cut edge and I am waiting for that to dry before I apply the coats of wax.
