Thanks!. Yeah, sort of as they are coiled in a circle, You hook one end then force the thing straight to hook the other end. The place that sells the springs will have clips. I used drywall screws into the existing pine, But I think that eventually I will replace the spars with hardwood and better screws, depending on if it needs it or not. So far, so good. You may need to put a support brace in (the wood plank in the center) as the springs together will really pull on that thin frame.
