As for how I mounted it:
I just marked and drilled holes at each end to put the big u-bolts through which you can see in the pictures. I cut a piece of 1" steel angle (from Lowes) to fit inside the bottom corners at each end with the u-bolts through those also. Then I added a bolt through the box and angle at the outside overhanging corner to make the angle support the box and spread the load out to avoid tearing out the u-bolt holes.
