The outlets you want to replace are probably the RV type and may not be in a box. The new outlets have the terminals exposed so you should put them in boxes just like household wiring.
The LEDs look the same as the cob style I used except these are white. I used warm white. The white may be blueish??? I assume you checked your lights to see what base is used.
I have found a big variation in sellers on eBay. Without having seen these lights I can't say that these are ones I would like. I always bought one or 2 to try before buying all I wanted. At the price, you wouldn't loose much if they were dimmer than expected or the color was too blue.
