I was interested in your mod since my steps sag a bit too. I will have to take a look underneath to see just what the problem is. Looking at it from the outside, I don't think it is the same problem.
I use the RV.net portal. I use my phone most of the time as well as my desk top pc (3 minitors,each 1900 pixels wide).
What is the native resolution of your monitor?
My wife's laptop has 1366 pixels for the width.
