I only dry camped 4 days out of our two week trip. So, I didn't even go through a tank of gas because I only need to run both if I was running the AC. Running led lights and having a small solar set up really limits how much I need to charge the batteries. As far as how to fill them up I can just pull them out (take 5 min.) or if I know I'm going to be using both for an extended time I will use my after market gas caps, long gas lines and large capacity gas can. I can run indefinitely with that set up by using a second or third gas can to keep refilling the external tank.
