I have the Maxxair vent covers over the top vents and always leave them open when traveling. Pulls a lot of the "hot air" out the vents while moving. I left a window cracked once and could not believe how much dust got in while moving. Won't do that again. Other than a generator sufficent to run the Air Conditioner, I don't see much else you can do. Maybe someone else has a few tricks.
