Cooling trailer while driving

I am thinking run a generator in the back of the truck if you want to run the air conditioner in transit. I find it is best to arrive late so the sun is going down and the RV cools faster. That or park and go out to dinner so it has time to cool. Or leave early enough to arrive and plug in by 9am or earlier. Depends on distance... maybe take the trailer a day early.

Plenty of times we arrive with a hot trailer pulling through the desert... to a point you just have to deal with it. Make sure you have everyone's favorite drinks prechilled.
