Let her sit in the idling tow vehicle with the AC on while you cool off the TT or have her walk the dogs (if you have them) or sit in the shade. My wife walks the dogs while I get stuff setup.
Running a Genny in a truck bed isn't something I'd feel comfortable doing tooling down the road...
What if you have a collision, you now have a running engine with a gasoline tank on it (or sitting next to it) either breaking loose and flying somewhere or flipping upside down and catching fire.
Sometimes people don't look at the BIG picture.
