If you do the genny in the truck set up, consider adding a truck a/c to improve your gas milage:

Seriously, I use the Maxx-Air vent covers so we can leave the 3 roof vents open. No fan running , but going down the road forces ventilation in the trailer. Have never noticed excessive dustiness, not ever had a problem with sewer fumes or windows blowing out (LOL). The key is two have more than one vent open so air blowing in one can blow out the other.
Generally, the trailer inside will be the same temp as whatever it is outside. The only way to get it colder is to use a genny to run the a/c going down the road.
