Hate to say, but Nitrogen is bs.
At normal operating temperatures of tires, Nitrogen expansion is almost undetectable compared to air.
The atmosphere is already 78% nitrogen, thus so is your tire when using compressed air. Pure nitrogen is only 22% more nitrogen than air.
Given that most people say nitrogen is a larger molecule than oxygen, and hence, it doesn't leak out as much. Well, if you already have 78% nitrogen in your tire from compressed air, and in that tire, the oxygen leaks out leaving a higher percentage of nitrogen already. Put more air in, which contains nitrogen, you end up with more nitrogen than 78% anyways over time.
