The mining for EV battery material is the new gold rush.
This epitomizes my point on ecological impact. Mining, mining mining. How is this in any way green? There's no part of mining that's green. Ruining natural habitat, stripping foliage for runoff, trees converting CO2 to O2, caustic runoff in rivers, the list goes on. First we criticize mining for oil and now we applaud mining for minerals for EV's? Someone please tell me what's green in the manufacture of EV's and their lifecycle without falling back on tailpipe emissions.
