Like many here we eat the same food on the road as we do at home. We take plenty of food from home supplemented by a pre trip run to the grocery store for any items not in the pantry/freezer. On the road we shop at the grocery stores or an occasional farmers market and we love to take advantage of local specials like fresh seafood along the Oregon coast.
For us, our food costs simply don't change just because we are on the road and we eat healthy delicious meals (Prime Rib, Lamb Shanks, Coconut Shrimp, Pork Tenderloin, Baby back ribs, steaks on the grill, deluxe burgers, 8 kinds of chicken, turkey with all the trimmings, Kum Pao, Sweet and sour, corned beef, soups and stews etc. are all part of our traveling "menu").
