Cost of food while camping ... does it have to be high?

We are principally weekend campers since I have every other Friday off and I try and get to some place closer than say 4 hours away on one of those long weekends per month. For us, the (extra) cost...

That's the beauty of owning a TT. The food costs don't change and the fridge is so much easier compared to a cooler.
