My food budget is significantly higher when I go camping. It seems like I don't get to go very often so I splurge a bit.
I buy some steak which we normally don't cook.
Some frozen appetizers (stuffed potato skins stuffed jalapenos etc))
Big package or two of Choc Chip cookies
Chips, salsa, dip.
Bagels
Muffins
lots of Soda and juices
DW needs water bottles
Gatorade
Breakfast cereals (at least 2)
Ice cream
lunch meats
various sandwich sliced cheeses
squeeze bottle of Mayo so I don't have to bring the Costco size or a tupperware.
Pretty much whatever I think someone on the trip might want to eat.
If I'm going to do some dutch oven cooking I'll also buy the ingredients for that.
This is all for a weekend trip.
