Cost of food while camping ... does it have to be high?

Glad to see so many proclaiming to eat healthy and cheaply while RVing. They must stay in different campgrounds, as my buddies eat out a lot and spend more on snacks etc. The truth is that good food is cheap and plentiful. It's the rest of stuff in the shopping bag that is expensive.
