The reason I recommend action is that the Costco stores I know have, on the whole, very fine goods....
but......
once you see anything on the shelf that may be a hot seller, it is gone within days never to return. I have raced over to CCo when a friend said they had a certain item only to be disappointed that it was gone and won't be back. Plus each different CCo can have slightly different stock.
6K BTU's would be good for a small cube camper in anything but the summer Southern climes, me thinks.
We bought a 7K BTU Fedders air conditioner 42 years ago during an extended heat wave in L.A. that worked well in a 400 sq. foot space. It saved us and our then 1 and 3 year old children. But, it was big and bulky. I'm sure now with the electonics pared down so the unit would be smaller and lighter.
