Costco has a pretty small 6000 btu AC now
I bought one and am going to see if I can mod it to work just venting from the back for a in-cabinet side wall installation. It is very very tiny and $139. I will let you know how it goes.

Normally this time of year I'm in a much cooler spot but now stuck in an "emergency" situation in a very hot and humid spot for the next 2 months or longer - what a bummer!

Like I mention, a nice cheap small AC with a full digital thermostat, timer functions and remote control. Some of the slightly cheaper models only have a 1,2,3 speed knob.
