- phenrichsExplorerIf there was a HD diesel Tundra I would never have bought my Dodge. In my market the Chev and Ford were the ones that were problematic. The Dodge was the least reported issue one around here. had there been a diesel Tundra option, OH BABY! The lack of the diesel HD is the only reason I don't have one. I love those trucks.
- carringbExplorerI have been surprised not to see it yet. It has been available for industrial applications in the US since about 2007. It is a nice motor, and we never had any problems with them.
But, Toyota does not put them in Hino trucks for some reason (at least not the US) so that makes me skeptical they would consider it for a light truck instead of one of their road-proven inline 6-cyl diesels.
