Do you have a DC power outlet near the bed?
Here's an example of a DC power cord for a CPAP (may not be the correct one for your husband's particular machine):

We have a DC outlet at our vanity, a bit far from the bedside. So we moved the CPAP machine farther away and bought a 10-foot air hose. That, with the 6-foot DC power cord reaches my spouse.
