I'm on my third CPAP. My 1st one have 12V DC input jack. Most newer ones run on 24V. I bought the optional 12V power supply with the machine that came with the 12V/24V converter brick. I believe it costs less than $50. It also has a cable with a 12V receptacle and battery clamps to hook up to a car battery directly.
