The warranty paint shop was so booked, that he was on 8 months waiting list for warranty repainting.
Every domestic automaker had paint issues in the 90s.
I had the same problem with a 2008 civic I used for a daily driver. Paint was peeling off the roof. This is a very common Honda issue and they extended the warrantee for 7 years. When I brought it in, they told me it was 1-1/2 month past the 7 year mark of the original sold date and wouldn't cover anything. I no longer have that POC.
