cracked shower/tub surround

2011 keystone sprinter, first trip of season and found 6 inch crack in shower surround, is this common or is it from the extreme cold od the winter? I am just going to caulk it for now but it looks easy to replace, just plastic rivets or pins holding it on..
  • I wouldn’t say it is common and yes it is easy to replace…
  • Mine should have cracked years ago. Flimsy support underneath.I suspect that may be the cause for yours as well. Please let us know.
  • Not common, but not unheard of. Relatively simple to replace...or just JB Weld it.
  • it was the sidewall that cracked, not the tub, just to clarify,,,may patch it for now unless it grows..
  • You could drill a small hole at each end of the crack to help prevent it from spreading further too.
