I've got numerous cracks around the upper marker light on the Outback. The light is in a recess and cracks are above and radiating down below the light. They are hairline cracks but cracks none the less. I assume the front cap is fiberglass. What do I do to stop/mitigate problems? I assume it could get bad and start leaking. Heading on a month long trip to Utah in October.
Are they actual cracks in the fibreglass or are they spider cracks in the Gelcoat? Cracks in the fibreglass are a structural issue while spider cracks in Gelcoat surfaces are generally cosmetic. Use google to figure out which one and how each can be repaired.
