Cruise Control Does not work when towing 5th wheen

I'm inclined to agree with the answers that point to a brake or brake controller issue since the problem only occurs when the trailer is hooked up to the truck. All of the suggestions were good, however many of them (vacuum hoses etc) would not apply because your CC works when not towing.
