According to Tusk, he will have a fleet of 1,000,000 Robotaxies this year.
Now I don't know if I will live out this year but I think so? I have a feeling you're going to be correct and tusk is FOS like always.
OP; almost 400 people lost their lives in plane wrecks due to outsourcing software to $9 an hour workers in other countries. And they have found more bugs in the software after testing it to return those planes to service.
Boeing outsourced its software to $9 an hour engineers.

Way to put a positive spin on this discussion ! ! :B- winnimanExplorer IIAll this cyber stuff might fly in California, but I would like to see a driverless car navigate snow and ice covered roads here in Canada. I wouldn't want to be in one in a snow storm.

Does that make you a control freak? :B - colliehaulerExplorer IIIWhen/if this technology hits tow vehicles how would you hitch up a trailer or 5er? What would happen if trailer sway occurred? A tire blow out or mechanical failure?
I might not even being towing anymore by the time this technology makes it into heavy duty trucks.
Just thought of something, no more speeding since you can't control the accelerator.
Absolutely no reason to be in the cab of the truck you could go to bed in the RV and wake up at your destination (hopefully). - gboppExplorer

Does that make you a control freak? :B - I'm with the OP... I am all for progress, but at some point you need to be able to override that non thinking piece of electronics...
