CTD Fuel Filter job. Dealers never cease to amaze me.

Local Ram dealer quoted me $429.00 for replace the front and rear filters on my 2016 CTD. I was expecting about $150-$200.

Dealer said, "we charge 2 hours labor for that job".

Looks like I'm going to do this easy job it myself. You can get both genuine Mopar filters off Amazon for $70 for the pair and after watching a number of Youtub videos on the subject, it looks like it would take less than an hour if you were very slow. It looks like an experience tech who does a lot of these could do both in about 30 minutes.

Not slamming the local dealer, they've got to make money too but that price sounded a bit high.
