Cummins vs Hummer Towing 6,000 lbs

Summary towing a measly 6,000 lb camper:

Hummer: ~128 mile towing range (Epic Fail), Price $114k

Ram/Cummins: 9.7 mpg (Fail), Price $68k


Summary: No earth shattering news on the EV, but what was surprising was the underperforming cummins with a disappointing 9.7mpg towing this small camper that has a aero front end.

    Traveling on frontage roads and towns at first then towing at 70mph not a big surprise on the mileage. The click method is just stupid. I fill my RAM to the top all the time so I know exactly what MPG I am getting. Tow behind trailers eat more fuel than 5er's.

    Wonder what tires they have on the TT, are they 65 mph rated?
