Take it easy guys. It’s all too easy to expect a new vehicle, TV , toaster etc to be PERFECT, but if some of you can remember back to when you worked, built things, managed people, flipped burgers, whatever your career was, can you say you were PERFECT?
Yeah , you don’t have to answer that one publicly.......
Now, quit being 70 year old snowflakes that expect instant gratification.
I get that it’s annoying, but seriously, if you can buy a $40-70k new pickup, a $100 water pump is not a big deal. If it’s that disconcerting to you, replace it.
If this was something expensive, difficult to repair or otherwise significant, I could see being more upset over it.
Wife’s car, found out it had a cooling fan assembly recall while I was researching the part number to replace it. My options were spend $180 and go get the part and replace it that afternoon, or spend literally 8 or more hours of my life and the other associated hassles to get it fixed “free.” Car was running again by beer:30.
Lol. Cheers
LOL, too funny! :B
I definitely hear what you're saying. Since I have the SCR recall still outstanding I will try to get the dealer to do the pump as well during the same visit. If that doesn't happen by the time the longer road trips this summer with the fiver, I'll be doing it myself now that the upgraded pumps are available. And having a couple of cold ones during the job is an added bonus....:B
