Finally. I got a call from my service advisor letting me know they actually have the new style pump and set me up for tomorrow. I haven’t heard anything from FCA though. I absolutely love my truck, but slightly less than thrilled with FCA and how this recall has been handled and drug out. I received my initial recall notice end of September and here it is mid March. I hope to never need them again.
So what should they do??? Not tell you anything then one day get a call and say go to your Dealer????
Wow what an inconvenience!
So 6 months waiting for them to get parts in to fix a vehicle that could leave you stranded on the side of the road like what happened to IdaD is ok with you? Well, it’s not acceptable to me. Yes, I could have made other arrangements and fixed myself and submitted to FCA for reimbursement. But I wanted it fixed by them as that’s one reason I bought a new truck with a warranty. And next time just keep your smart a&& comments to yourself if you don’t have anything worth adding.
Thin skinned I guess. FACT is they have to notify you. It takes time to get this straightened out. You could have gone to the dealer and had them inspect your to see if is actually one that would be replaced.
Facts huh? Well why didn’t you ask for facts?
I did go to the dealer and had it confirmed. The same time I had the SCR recall done which is why the service writer called me.
Why do you assume things? I assure you I’m not thin skinned either. I just don’t tolerate mouthy people very well and have zero problems pointing out this FACT!
