wow love the input, Thanks a lot everyone! Lets try do addess some of the concerns here:
1. F650 - It actually is the same truck as the ford F550 other then they changed the finders on it and the bed height would go from 40" to 48" with there low profile tire option. the big negative would be is lose 8" of head room in the camper witch would mean Im going from 61" of head room on the cab over down to 53", 60" I can walk up there bent over but not 53" and thats a hard apple to bit.. Well I could take it from the Basement as well to keep some of the inside height..
2. F650 - cab height not a problem, the 550's are 44" from the bed to the top of the cab the 650 is 46 1/2" so we are good there.
3. Trailer? - Yes I have a 23' World Cat with 350-450 lb tongue weight
4. Big negative for the F650 is the fact is thats a work truck so there as plain as it gets no options for the cab vinyl or cloth seats and air thats about it. :(
5. The camper must be removable other wise one may as well go to a class A B or C.. and not do the build.
The big reason for the build this past winter my wife and I had went to FL keys for 4 mo and had to get boat out of the impound lot after the young st trooper pulled me over due to pulling the boat behind a 5th wheel and I was 74 ft long. Yes I new what i was doing but we did this for the past 7 yrs and got popped this time. 1800 in fines and tickets im done.
