Unfortunately EVs control wheelspin with reducing power or braking like any modern traction control. I believe 4WD with transfer case and limited slip or locking differentials may still hold an advantage. Of course this also gives about 2.5:1 gearing advantage over just the differentials. Now if there was a Jeep like EV with Eaton TruTrac or locking differentials this could be a real step up.
Can't wait to have a 4WD mag review these off roader EV trucks side by side with similar vehicles. Certainly the EVs will not lack for power at low speed.
