Yes all EVs have better gearing. Usually 7:1 to 9:1 as stock. This is possible as the motor easily spins to 10,000+ rpm and you never even realize it. I believe Tesla may go to 14,000 maybe more.
Time you seem up on the tech side of this stuff. Why does Tesla use one induction and one permanent magnet motor. Gotta be some pros and cons there. Is Jag doing that as well?
