Indeed, unless Cybertruck is so technologically advanced that it can be set up for towing and can react accordingly to it's unique driving and handling, lol.

Tesla would of course assume that not a few buyers will be using it for towing trailers and would have a section on the manual for it. Curious what unique features will be on it.

Did you buy the autopilot option and turned it on?

My daughter I think was told she have it on her Tesla X but have not activated it.

There is often some confusion over the term “autopilot”. All Tesla’s come standard with autopilot at no extra cost except the off menu 35,000 standard range model 3. The driver must enable it and read all the disclosure statements etc. Autopilot is simply autosteer coupled with TACC which is traffic aware cruise control. TACC is cruise control that keeps the distance to a vehicle in front of you etc. It does react to GPS based speed limits etc, slows down for corners etc. Works very well as long as there are lines on the road.

FSD or full self drive has to be paid for and then turned on. It gives you features like stopping at all stop signs, stop lights etc, automatic passing/lane changing, navigation on autopilot which makes all the turns for you when a destination is given, on ramps, off ramps, merging etc, smart summons, auto parking etc. Yes we have it. It works fairly good but is still in beta. It needs supervision but overall makes for a more relaxing drive. And it gets better every download.

Almost bought a Ford 150 for my new RV until someone at the dealership told me my current SUV is adequate and I just wait for my Cybertruck. I would have also wished them to be ahead of the Cybertruck with equal capabilities and it's looks has not grown on me yet.

There is info trickling out on Fords version of Autopilot as well. Looks like it is similar to Supeecruise from GM and based on GPS data and overlay. I was in a caddy with supercruise. Seemed to work well but of course you need to be on a road that was specifically mapped for Supercruise. I’m sure Fords will be similar.
