I was thinkin the same about late GM trucks,and Ive been drivin Chevys for over forty years now,
the box look is not only ugly but gets worse mpg as a result,no more GM for me.

Tesla truck is made that shape bc such hard stainles steel cant be formed only bent in two axis.
main advantage is that dagger shape should get the best range mpg simply for its aerodynamics.
Id buy it even it wasnt electric.
