Looks like you've picked up the torch that was flickering a bit after it had been burning so brightly on Whazoo's many trips.
Backpacking the canyon is tough on all bodily parts and making it the distance you guy's did is quite the feat. Pun intended.
The pictures bring back so many memories of one of my favorite natural wonders of the world. We've never made it to the North Rim but now after reading your personal experiences on the trail system, we'll be heading that way in the spring.
I hope this trip report will encourage others who are a bit apprehensive, to venture down into the chasm of the Colorado.
