I agree with gmw photos. Repacking bearings isn't tough. I've done it for decades on my various automobiles. I just purchased my RV new (to me), and they repacked them just prior to delivery, so Im okay there.
I think I will swap the tires and take them two at a time to the store for mount and balance.
I echo dmullen's thanks to all for the dialogue. And, even though I have done my independent research, I still strongly encourage others who are undecided to go out and research on your own, via separate sources. Some very good sources are linked throughout this thread, and there are other sources that corroborate. But, you need to research for yourselves and come to your own conclusions. I have.
