The big round ones weigh in at around a ton. If he t-boned one of those, I don't think we'd be having this discussion. Even the smaller rectangular ones will do a lot of damage.
A few year back we did get side swiped by a tumble weed in Texas. Must have been a 40mph tail wind and it decided to change lanes without signaling. Just a small dent on the truck bed and lower from side of the 5th wheel. We did clock in at just shy of 17mpg that day.
