Turtle n Peeps, Many years ago I saw (on tv) Neil Bonnent hit a deer at Pocono ( coming off the tunnel turn,I think).....it wasn't pretty. Especially for the deer!
Used to live close enough to that track to hear them shift. Between the DW and I, so far we have hit nine deer, and one wild dog, in the last 40 years of driving. Everything from light scratches to a totalled CRV. My father once had one of them jump of an embankment, land on the roof of his VW Bug, and spend a bit of time dancing, before crashing. Left some interesting scratches on the roof.
