Dead batteries
I went out to the storage area to try to install a TV behind the doors in the bedroom of our Bullet 247BHSWE. Sadly that didn't work out (TV is about .3 inches too thick at 1.9 inches with a .6 inch m...

It will charge both at one time at 10 amps then when charged it goes into maintain mode so it won't overcharge.oyarsa wrote:Smaller DIY type battery chargers will work (10A->15A or higher). Yes a conventional battery charger can charge both batteries at the same time.
Any suggestions on an appropriate charger? Would it charge both batteries together?
Any harm just letting them sit till the next trip in a few weeks and then pulling the trailer home to charge them that way?
It is always better to recharge a depleted lead-acid battery as soon as possible. If an owner can charge the batteries and maintain a float voltage until the batteries are next used, that is the best scenario. A discharged battery is sulfating until it is charged or when charge current is removed. If the battery is stored with a full charge, there will be less sulfation as the electrolyte is in a state to move ions back into suspension. Typically, flooded lead-acid batteries will maintain most of it's full charge for a couple of months if there is no draw on the battery. AGM batteries are even better than this as they discharge less during storage.
Good luck with the batteries.
