What completely turns me off is "salesman lines". Those canned comments that give away a bad salesman.
I want a friendly, relatable, honest salesman. When one of them says "we'll make you a deal so good it's stupid", or "what can I do to get you to take this home TODAY" when I've already specified I am not buying TODAY.
Another irk, salesmen that don't know their product. When buying my truck, I asked if one on their lot had a trailer brake controller, his answer:"they all do as standard equipment." Completely false. Don't tell me how my new Ram has "over 400hp" when I know it has 395. Know your product, or don't be afraid to say "I'm not sure let me check".
