Deals on Tie Downs?

I got lucky and found front and rear TD's on ebay for a little over $100. Called Torklift and had them send me a new hardware kit. $46 shipped. Seemed a little steep, but it included everything. Even that bolt fisher-thing.

Granted, I got these a good year before I even had the camper and had been on the lookout for almost year previous to that. I knew that I would eventually need them. Gave me some time to rehab them with a new paintjob. Saved bunch of money. If you're not in a hurry, something will come along. Just keep your eyes peeled.

I have been scouring CL for the past month, the ones I find people don't want to ship and everyone is leary of being scammed from someone that is 200 miles away, most of them I find are too far of a drive to pickup. Then you get the ones where the person wants $300 for a used set of torklifts, I was hoping to find a used set for under $200, I put more money in rehabbing my Shadow Cruiser camper than I had planned.

May not fit well to a Ford 2500, but I've got a 1-yr old set of Torklift tie downs (frame mounted), front & back, fit to a 2013 Chevy 3500HD regular cab long bed 4x4, you can have for cheap. Drop me a PM if interested.

I purchased my Torklift tiedowns from Amazon.At the time if you opened a credit card with them you got a 50 dollar gift card, so that helped a little bit.

That's were I have gotten mine also and the free shipping where others might be the same price then charge for shipping make them a good deal. The also ship fast.

The problem with Craigslist is that you generally need the tiedowns TODAY, and you can't count on someone taking the exact mounts off their truck and advertising them in a timely fashion. Your odds are even worse if you're only searching your local craigslist.

I see them on Craigslist once in a while. I bought my Tork lift front set on Ebay for $150 but I wasn't in a hurry as I was using the Happi Jacs before then.
