The deed it done!!! I can't wait to pick it up around the first of September. In the meantime I'll "move out" of the old one and store all the stuff in my shed in anticipation of picking up the Lance. I'll be a 2 camper guy for a while until I get around to selling the Weekender, but that's ok as it will give me time to switch out the LED light bulbs, AGM batteries and the vent covers.
Buzzcut, I suppose I am a bit like you, in that I did take a couple of cell phone photos of the two areas I was looking for the most. And a main reason I bought it WAS your fault after all the photos of your rig in the past!... I really like the 1055 a LOT;.. I had to sneak the couple pics in while the "current" owner was outside of the camper though... Most of the time I was so busy trying out ALL the appliances and acting like a little kid with a new toy!! :) (ever use a furnace in 90 degree weather in the desert??!) and climbing all over it knocking on walls, stomping on the floor and then the roof when I got up there that I gave up on taking any more today. I'll have a few questions, but all in all I *think* I am pretty familiar with it now after over 2 hours "playing" with it! I LOVE IT!! especially without a slide (personal preference,) having a dry bath,
extra counter space in the kitchen
and the holding tank capacities, which are DOUBLE of that in my weekender, though the fresh water is only 30 and I currently have 39gallons. Truthfully, I seldom have used the entire 39 gallons in the Weekender because the holding tanks were only 16 and 14 gallons respectively; pretty poor planning I'd say!
I'll post more when I actually get it home in a couple weeks..
Cheer all, and thanks for sharing this fun time with me! :)
