My brother moved to Colorado and he put one on his Yukon before he left Illinois, one week after getting to Colorado he went to the local dealer for a oil change and while waiting for the oil change a tech backed out a brand new truck out of a bay right into his yukon.... yup into his brand new guard put a scratch on the guard and quite a bit of damage to the new truck not sure if the tech still employed but the yukon survived so far he hasn't hit any deers or bears etc... he travels a lot in the mountains. So I would say his did it's job ??
