Def fluid in new Ram
Picked up my new Ram 3500 yesterday and they informed me that I have to use mopar def fluid in order to not damage the system...have you other Ram owners experienced the same story?

Well considering Ram does not manufacture their engines in the diesel 2500 and up I don't know how they would be qualified state you must use their brand DEF. I would think the outsourced vendor would be better qualified on recommending what to use in their engines.
