"DEF low, but you know it's not" problem
We added DEF to our 2012 Chevy D/A before our last trip and off we went...Over 500 miles later we got notice that we had 300 miles until we added more...Didn't think that sounded right, but added anot...

Reason asking is that am thinking DEF is sensitive to light...
Optical, some, shine a light into the bottle via a special plastic lens that
has an angled cut
That angle has the light bounce enough back if not submerged to tell the
computer the level is below that lens
If submerged, then the angled cut will NOT bounce back light, but pass it
through into the bottle
Wondering if that light degrades the DEF
Floats have their problems too...
