I asked the same question a couple weeks ago about the 2 different Wall Mart DEF products, but the responses on my post were not near as colorful as these! Wow-wee! What a way to wake up in the morning! (Urine in my DEF tank!)

Supertech DEF from Walmart is the cheapest bottled DEF, only slightly more than pump costs per gallon. I have used it for about 25k miles without issues.

I do believe that as long as it meets the qualities/requirements or ISO set down by the manufacturer it should be okay to use.

You would think DEF is DEF and they all need to follow a standard recipe for making it, but some folks in the previous company I worked for had problems using cheaper DEF and were told not to. Maybe it was made from Canadian or Chinese mice urine?? :)

Agreed. DEF is DEF. If you can get to a truckstop where they pump it, it's usually MUCH less expensive that way, than boxed.....

Is there a Buffalo herd somewhere where they catch that urine to put in the DEF solution and do they roller-skate in the herd to collect it.
