Far as any RV manufacturer providing notice of a design/manufacturing defect, they are exactly like the auto companies, not going to allude to anything unless their feet are held to the fire.
No one voluntarily fesses up to anything unless forced to by some outside circumstance.
Good example is/was the Takita air bag fiasco. No one said a word until people started dying and then the NHTSA got involved and viola, there is an issue.
