Its not so much who is assembling, but an industry culture that is encouraging inferior material and assembly in favor of profit.
I submit ATC is challenging that culture. No wood in the unit. Top to bottom. Solid construction materials alongside reasonable assembly standards. Not perfect, but at least they are trying at a price point that in my mind is justifiable.
The real issue is the ignorance of the consumer. They want multiple slides, fancy interiors, bigger the better and don't peel the onion back when making such a large financial commitment.
I don't see it ending. The giants like Thor know they can push the envelope. They don't care and laugh all the way to the bank. Don't blame the assembler, its the industry.
