In NE Oklahoma, guys working their own service are getting $60-80 an hour from their clients, That's not straight wages, they have to capitalize their equipment and cover expenses from that. However, it keeps you around for the whole mowing season, and depending on your client base you might be working 2-3-4-5-6 days a week (earning a whole lot more, the more you work).
Need to be a businessman, not an employee, but that's kind of where you'd be towing, whether RVs or any other wildcat load, some of which pay a lot more than hauling RVs.
